Community Pharmacy

Helping Patients Get Needed Medications
Accessing affordable medications can be difficult. The Community Pharmacy helps patients make the most of available resources by providing low-cost prescription medications to those who qualify.

The Community Pharmacy is an easy and affordable way for people to get the medications they need. Through this program, people who qualify financially can get more than 100 medications that treat a wide variety of conditions including diabetes, asthma, heart disease, and depression.

The Community Pharmacy, a program administered by the Fredericksburg Area Regional Health Council and located at the Lloyd F. Moss Free Clinic, can provide medications to patients from private physicians' offices or other health care facilities.  These pharmacy-only services are available to individuals and families with incomes of up to 200 percent of the federal poverty guidelines. For a family of four, this figure is about $41,000 per year.

Medicine can be a very expensive part of your health care treatment. If your doctor has prescribed medicine and you can't afford to pay for it, you may be able to get the medicine for a reduced cost. The Community Pharmacy can help. Please call (540) 741-1077 for more information.
